Unacceptable service to force a customer with dietary restrictions to spend $145 on a coursed out meal that you are not ordering from.

I celebrated my engagement with my fiancé at The Vue. Her and I were lucky enough to be served by Melinda. Melinda had fantastic service, great energy, and was very generous to us regarding the occasion. Sometimes going to an upper end restaurant can be stressful but the service made us very welcomed and comfortable. And of course the food, drinks, and desert was delicious. Best dinner we could ask for after an engagement. We absolutely will be coming back to The Vue next time we are in Destin.

The food was amazing! Filet minion was to die for as well as the fish. Our server was a high professional, very knowledgeable and thoughtful. Great customer service, great food, probably the best in the area. Thank you very much for letting us feel so welcoming tonight!

First of all, the atmosphere is good It's a great place to enjoy tea, a meal, or a drink while looking at the beach, but it's quite expensive. When I open the door and go in, all the female employees and customers are looking at me. Why am I Asian? I look at you with an expression that says The customers and staff were well-dressed and the restaurant looked classy. The male bartenders are very friendly It was good The cocktails taste good and the coffee tastes good too. I really enjoy spending time on the terrace. Ah~~~It feels different to see the vast ocean with nothing in front of me. As I was leaving, three white people came in, and a female employee opened the door, greeting me with a very friendly expression and voice. I looked around and tried to remember, but I didn't see any black people, let alone Asian people.

Our server Sandi was so sweet and helpful. Chef Isley is amazing he personally checked on us more than once!!! On top of that he designed some delicious menu items!

This was our second visit to the Vue in about 10 days. The first time there the service, food and atmosphere was five stars. Best seafood and service we'd had in a long time. We ate on the patio yesterday afternoon. The view is beautiful and we would highly recommend it to anyone. The restaurant was not very busy while we were there. Our problem yesterday was the service. We were seated and received water pretty quickly. After that we didn't see any wait staff for well over 15 minutes. The waiter was friendly when he did finally arrive and we opted to order drinks and food at that time for fear we might not see him again. The food arrived pretty quickly and was excellent - delivered by other wait staff. After our food arrived the waiter never came back to see that our water and drink glasses were empty - he was MIA. Maybe a little retraining for the less experienced staff?

Very nice dinner in a nice atmosphere. Our server Rosemary was very nice and attentive. The chef also came by to see how we were enjoying our meals. My husband loved the Halibut and my shrimp and scallops were very good as well. We loved the key lime mouse for dessert. Nice wine list. A very nice dinner
